Posted in Day 18 - Colonix at 8:40 pm by admin
So, today was a slow day at work. I think everyone knew it was friday, and was itching for it to be the weekend. Because I didn’t have much to do today. All day I was tossing around the idea of taking a day or two off of the Colonix program. I want to take a break, because I’ve been feeling sick lately, and I think it’s because of the Colonix. I’m kinda torn on this idea. I know the final decision will come to me tomorrow morning when I’m about to mix the fiber together.
With that said, I had a headache all morning. One of those that requires me to turn the light off in my office. At this point, I would like to say that I am used to them, but apparently I’m not. I had a strong urge to crawl under my desk and take a nap. I avoided my tempation, although my body was not happy about it. For some reason, I’m just really tired lately, today especially. I guess I’ve been more and more fatigued over the last few weeks. I don’t want to assume it’s because of the Colonix. I think my bodies just exhausted from going thru these crazy cycles lately. I’ve had a headache every day for the last 18 days, I’ve barely pooped, and introducing a bunch of unkonwn herbs into my system that my body has never heard of before. I think my body is starting to rebel against me. Maybe I underestimated the complexity of colonix. I have to hand it to the people that have completed the colonix program in the past. They are tough people… possibly tougher than me.
No poop today. No surprise though, since I crapped out my entire intestinal track yesterday. Maybe tomorrow.
What I Ate Today:
7:00 am - one cup of coffee
7:15 am - one cup of coffee

So this morning I woke up early! I was awaken at 4am with a horrible cramp in my butt. I know it sounds funny, but I woke up with a pain down there. I got up to try and stretch a little, but it didn’t help. So I went to the bathroom, and tried to squeeze some out. I didn’t have an urge to go, but I tried and WOAH!!!! It started to come out. And it kept coming. I crapped out soooooooo much. It felt great! I went and weighed myself right afterwards and I lost three pounds!!! That’s about how much came out of me.
AND
I dug around in the toilet and found a little rope about 3 inches long and I managed to fish out of the toilet and photographed it. Out of respect for the few visitors I get here, I will NOT post this image on my blog. Frankly, I don’t want anyone vomiting on their keyboards because my colonix poop rope was splashed unexpectedly onto their computer screen. So, if you would like to see the Colonix Poop Picture, click on one of these links.
As to how I’m feeling all day. I had a colonix headache for most of the morning. I’m starting to get pretty frustrated with these headaches. I’m well into my third week, and still getting bad headaches. At first, I beleive it was probably detox symptoms. But, still?? I don’t know. The only thing I can contribute these headaches too, is the Colonix, because I only get them after I drink it. Other than the headache, I’ve felt ok. No cramps, because I pooped so much this morning. I’ve had an earache all day. But that’s most likely unrelated. Probably just some water in my ear from my shower or something. Who knows. Now a days, I have no idea what my body is doing.
I’ve been thinking lately abotu taking a break from the Colonix. I’m going to do it tomorrow morning, and if I still feel bad, then I’m going to take the weekend off. Just to see how I feel. If I continue to become constipated and constant headaches, then I’ll know its because of something other than the Colonix. If I no longer feel ill, then I’ll at least know for sure as to what is making me feel so bad. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow. Maybe taking a couple days off of the cleansing program will be good for my body.
I don’t know. This stuff cost alot of money, and I don’t want to rush into a decision. But, it’s something that I am pondering right now.
What I Ate Today:
6:20 am - One cup of coffee
6:45 am - One cup of coffee
7:30 am - Bowl of Fruitloops with Starberries
8:15 am - FULL scoop of Colonix mixed with 8oz. fruit juice. Followed with another 8oz. glass of fruit juice
9:00 am - One organic apple
11:15 am - Two 9oz. cups of water
12:30 pm - One 9oz. cup of water
2:00 pm - Subway Meatball sandwich with Mozzarella & Black Olives, with extra Oregano. Bag of Dorito’s Nacho Cheese Chips. Iced Tea
3:30 pm - One 9oz. cup of water
4:05 pm - 8 baby carrots and 9oz. cup of water
5:55 pm - 9oz. cup of water
7:25 pm - Fettichini Alfredo with Chicken Breast and side of lima beans. 16oz. Glass of Milk.
8:50 pm - Two scoops of Blue Bell Fudge Brownie Nut Ice Cream
10:00 pm - 16oz. Glass of water

The Growth in the Organic & Healthy Food Market
Why is the organic and health food market growing so fast and what type of organic foods are there?
Organic produce is one of the fastest growing food retail sectors in the country. Health scares such as BSE and foot-and-mouth, plus fears of GM crops/food and synthetic dyes and ingredients such as Sudan1 have led to considerable growth in the organic and the healthy food market as worried consumers seek out more healthy and natural products.
Recent research by market analysts nVision suggests four in ten adults now choose organic options on a regular basis. Organic supermarkets in England are boming and Europes biggest organic event, the Biofach exhibition in Germany in getting bigger every year.
Unfortunately, at the moment retailers are charging artificially high prices. I was in Tesco last week which is a rare occurrence as I shop locally where possible, and I nearly died when I saw the prices being charged for organic yogurt and eggs compared to the non-organic brands. Its about time that the government started to investigate these organic suppliers and supermarkets to see who is ripping us off! Encouraging competition is not always a good idea as this can drives down prices (good for the consumer) which can put organic suppliers out of business if they have small profit margins. I understand that we have to pay more for organic produce because there are more crop failures due to the fact that the farmers cannot use pesticides, but what is an acceptable percentage and does this vary from product to product. Should organic fish be 10 percent more expensive than non organic fish and vegetables 20 per cent etc?
Once only available in small health shops or farmers markets, organic foods are becoming much more widely available. In the past 10 years sales of organic food in the UK have increased over 10-fold from £100m in 1993/94 to nearly £1.4bn in 2004/05. This large growth is predicted to continue, and many companies are jumping into the market. Sales through farmers markets and farm shops have grown faster than any other retail outlet. Organic food and drink now accounts for 1.2 per cent of the total retail market (Source Soil Association).
There are two types of organic foods.
Fresh food
Fresh food is seasonal and perishable. Vegetables and fruits are the most available type of organic, fresh food, and are closely associated with organic farming. They are often purchased directly from growers, at farmers markets, supermarkets or through speciality food stores. Organic meat, eggs, dairy are also available.
Processed food
Processed food accounts for most of the items in a supermarket. Often, within the same store, both organic and conventional versions of products are available, and the price of the organic version is usually higher as already mentioned. Most processed organic food comes from larger companies producing and marketing products like organic baby food, organic beer, organic pasta or other convenience foods.
How do I know its organic?
The term organic is defined by law - all organic food production and processing is governed by a strict set of rules. Look for symbols such as the Soil Association symbol for your guarantee of the highest organic standards. The Soil Association organic symbol is the UK’s largest and most recognisable trademark for organic produce. Wherever you see it you can be sure that the food you have purchased has been produced and processed to strict and rigorous animal welfare and environmental standards. Other symbols to look out for include the Organic Food Federation and Certified Organic Ingredients.
Most people dont have enough time to read the labels of all the different food products that they buy to check for organic ingredients. So look for the various symbols, you can then be sure that the product complies with minimum government standards.
The use of such symbols is entirely optional and a product can still be organic even though if it doesnt carry the symbol of a certifying body. That means if you want to be 100% satisfied that what you are eating or using is organic always read the label or speak to the vendor.
Where you will find the symbol? - Look out for organic symbols on almost any kind of food and drink you can think of from fresh produce like fruit, vegetables and meat to processed foods such as bread or baby food. You can even buy organic pet food!

It’s been a long day. This morning I was getting horrible cramps in my stomach. I felt like I had to “go,” but I could never squeeze anything out. I had the cramps for about three hours. It was very distracting too, because I was supposed to give a presentation at work today. While I’m up in front of a room of people, I’m getting these cramps. So, I’m trying to not be obvious about it and just go on with my presentation. At times, it was hard. I would be in the middle of a sentence and turn my body a certain way, and BAM! there’s a cramp, suckerpunching me in the stomach. The presentation went well, and nobody said anything about it to me, but I’m sure they noticed. And I’m sure it went down as “another-stupid-thing” that I’ve done lately.
As to how I’ve been feeling - Not good. I’ve had a colonix headache all day. Longer than usual. This one feels like those I got back in the first week of colon cleansing. It was a rough one. I spent my entire lunch break sleeping in my car, because rest seems to be the only thing that helps the headaches. And napping for an hour in my car helped. I was able to shut my body down for awhile and allow it some time to recooperate.
No poop. Still feeling pretty backed up. I thought that I would’ve had a big movement today because I was cramping so bad this morning. One thing that I’ve learned since starting the Colonix is that when I start to get bad cramps, then I’m about to drop alot of kids off at the pool. ** If you know what I mean **
I guess that means I will have a massive one tomorrow sometime. I need to remember to bring my trusty wire hanger with me to work….. just in case.
What I Ate Today:
7:10 am - Cup of coffee
7:45 am - FULL scoop of Colonix, mixed with 8oz. Fruit Juice, followed with another 8oz. glass of juice
8:30 am - 2 strips of bacon, 1 hard boiled egg and a slice of cinnamon toast. 8oz. glass of orange juice
10:30 am - 9oz. cup of water
12:45 pm - 9oz. cup of water
1:45 pm - Luby’s Chicken Fried Steak with Macaroni & Cheese & Green Beans. Iced Tea
3:15 pm - 9oz. cup of water
4:00 pm - 9oz. cup of water
5:20 pm - 9oz. cup of water, pack of 6 cheese crackers
7:00 pm - Deli Sandwich, Turkey & Swiss, with pretzels. Glass of milk.
8:45 pm - 2 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup’s with 16oz. glass of water
10:20 pm - KleriTea zzz.z.z..z…….

Colon Cleansing - Healthy Living Advice
Learn the importance of colon cleansing and how it can greatly benefit your life.
It is important for your overall health to occasionally detoxify your body. As your body’s toxic levels increase, stress and other harmful factors can limit your enjoyment of everyday life. Often people who need a detoxify treatment experience less energy and have decreased brain function.
Detoxification is the process by which a person attempts to rid his or her body of harmful and addictive substances, usually alcohol or drugs. Most health practitioners recommend a detoxification at least once a year and some alternative medicine advocates suggest even more regular then that. Detoxifying the body also helps expel potentially carcinogenic heavy metals.
One of the easiest and quickest ways to detoxify is through Colon Cleansing. Colon cleansing or colon hydrotherapy can be performed in many ways, but the preferred way seems to be through a combination of methods. Colon detox cleansing includes the intake of juices, broth and herbs as well as holistic treatments, sauna, yoga postures and meditation. Plenty of rest and relaxation is also advised. There are also many cleansing products on the market today that can help you in your cleansing efforts. It is important to look for a product that provides and diet plan as well as a cleansing formula.
There are side affects to colon cleansing so be sure to discuss it with your doctor before you try any treatment. Side affects are usually minimal and subside with 5-7 days depending on how quick the detoxification process occurred.
A detoxification program helps bring the body back to a clean and healthy state and the energy spent on digestion now becomes available for other bodily functions such as the mind.

Not much to report today. It was a good day overall I think. Usual routine.
I drank the Colonix fiber in the morning. I need to find something else to mix it with. Water is not working for me anymore. The fruit juice I usually mix it with is starting to taste bad. It’s not that it’s expired or anything, it’s just that I can’t stand the taste of the Colonix mix. I’m going to go to the store tomorrow and see if theres a different kind of juice that may make this taste better.
I had the usual Colonix headache. It was pretty rough in the morning, but after lunch it started to recede. When I first got to work, it was starting to set in, so I just turned off the lights and got to work. I’m still not sure whats causing these headaches. I googled different phrases, and the only thing I found was forum postings, where other people were experiencing headaches. All the responses said that it is a standard detox symptom and should fade away after a few days. Well, I’m on day 15, and they’re still there. They don’t last as long as they once did, but they are definetely still there.
I had a little poop first thing this morning. Not much of one though. I don’t like going once every three days. These little one’s don’t really count. I mean, I’m only getting out little nuggets of poo. A fraction of what I ate that day or day before. But every three days or so, I poop alot! I don’t like that feeling. Because I start to get bloated and then the cramps set in. Why can’t I just poop once or twice a day like a normal person?
Anyways, I’m getting tired, and I still have to clean up a little. Update tomorrow…
What I Ate Today:
7:00 am - One cup of coffee
7:45 am - Half of an apple (four wedges) and bottom half of whole wheat bagel
8:15 am - 16oz. Glass of milk with Instant Breakfast mixed in
8:55 am - Full Colonix Scoop mixed with 8oz. fruit juice, followed with another 8oz. glass of juice
11:05 am - Bag of Baked Lays, with two 9oz. cups of water
11:45 am - 9oz. cup of water
2:15 pm - Jason’s Deli Salad Bar with Iced Tea
4:00 pm - 9oz. cup of water
4:35 pm - 9oz. cup of water
6:15 pm - 12oz. bottle of water
7:45 pm - Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, with side of pinto beans.
8:30 pm - Snacked on three snickers minatures
10:00 pm - KleriTea
10:45 pm (right now.) - 8oz. glass of water

Monday. Back to work. More Meetings. More Funny Looks from Coworkers. More Comments about my “episode” from last week. More embarassment. Of course. It’s just my luck. We had a meeting that lasted a couple of hours. So, naturally, they give everyone a break about halfway thru. I was already getting cramps during the first half of the meeting. So, once they gave us a break, I went to the restroom, like most other people in the meeting. I ducked into the stall, and tried to squeeze one out. I felt like I needed to go, but couldn’t actually get anything out. This is deja vu, because I think I was in the exact same stall about a week ago, going through the same troubles.
The break was only supposed to be for about ten minutes or so. Of course. I was in the stall for all of that. I’m not sure if they were trying to pull one over on me, or if I was actually that late. But I came walking back in the meeting and they had already started. So when I came walking in, a few people started giggling underneath their breath. The guy who was speaking when I walked in smuggly said “It’s nice of you to join us!”, which prompted laughter from most everyone, including my boss. What do you do when you are in this position? I just smiled and sat down, and the meeting continued, but I don’t think I actually heard a single word for the next hour, because I was continously replaying the scene in my head.
So embarassing.
Well. My Colonix cleanse continues. Not sure what else to write. I mixed the fiber drink. I drank it. I took the parasite pills. I’ve had a headache all day. I still can’t poop. I’m getting cramps. Two-weeks now, and it’s the same ‘ole thing. This is starting to get really old. I’m starting to run out of ways to rephrase that I have headaches, constipation and cramps. When is this going to stop? Seriously?
What I Had Today:
7:15 am - Cup of Coffee
8:00 am - One organic apple, and Yoplait Vanilla yogurt
8:40 am - Full scoop of Colonix mixed with fruit juice. Followed with more juice.
10:00 am - 9oz. cup of water
10:45 am - 9oz. cup of water
12:00 pm - 9oz. cup of water
2:00 pm - Jason’s Deli Salad Bar, Iced Tea
3:50 pm - 9oz. cup of water
5:30 pm - 9oz. cup of water, banana
7:20 pm - Pot Roast, with potato’s and carrots. 16oz. Glass of milk
8:45 pm - Bowl of Blue Bell Cookies & Cream Ice Cream
9:30 pm - KleriTea
10:15 pm - 8oz. glass of tea, which I drank at some point in my sleep.

So I went out of town for the Easter weekend. And I wasn’t able to update my blog because I didn’t want to log onto a “My Colon Cleansing Blog” on my extended family’s computer. It just doesn’t seem right. However, I managed to continue on with my Colonix Cleansing program. So, to continue on with the blog format I’ve established thus far, I will be doing lots of updates today, but I will put them in their respective categories.
I must admit, that I am a little disappointed. I’ve been feeling really down since starting this colon cleansing thing. I was kinda looking forward to taking a day or two off of the Colonix, just to see if my body could recooperate. Unfortanetly, that didn’t happen, and I am still feeling bogged down. Who knew that in order to “clean” out your colon and digestive tract, you had to basically break down the routines your body goes through on a daily basis. I must admit that this has been harder than expected. Trying to juggle the parasite pills and fiber mix, and still try to drink the KleriTea everynite. It’s tough trying to get everything taken care of on a timely manner, without complete disregard for your daily routine. If I would’ve known it would be this tough, I would’ve never started. BUT, I must continue on.
I decided pretty early on in my visit, that I would not tell anyone about the Colonix program. They wouldn’t understand. Plus, my aunt is ultra-conservative, she most likely has never heard of Colonix, and I know she adamently opposes anything that isn’t from a prescription company. Beside’s taking any sort of One-A-Day multivitamin, she’s pretty much against any sort of supplemental vitamin. When discussing “alternative medicine” with her, I mentioned that I drink a Whey Protein shake after a robust workout. I explained to her what the Whey Protein does for me and my muscles. She quietly (and politely) sat through my little Whey Speil, and then countered with “Why do you feel that you need the extra protein, if your body needed it, it would produce it for you.” Seriously, that’s what she said. How do you argue with that?
I also mentioned that I was considering adding Fish Oil / Omega 3 to my diet, because I don’t eat much seafood, and that I beleive that it would help me maintain a healthy heart. She told me to quit trying to take a “short-cut to good health” and to eat fish once a week. Admitedly, she makes a good point. But, here’s the problem - I don’t like fish. I’ve mentioned on here that I’m a very picky eater, and introducing more seafood to my diet would be rather difficult for me. Maybe I’m just the naive one in my family, because I have no problem introducing vitamins and supplements into my diet to improve my lifestyle. I mean, that’s what products like Colonix and Omega 3 are out there for. They help support a healthy lifestyle.
Am I right on this? Anyone?

Although I was sleeping on the same couch that gave me a neckache the day before. I actually got the best nite’s sleep, that I’ve gotten in a very long time. Not only did I sleep deep, I slept longer. An extra couple of hours. Then I had some more homecooking for breakfast. My aunt made pancakes with cinammon mixed in the batter. They were absolutely delicious! A perfect way to start the day.
I drank my Colonix fiber mix that morning. It was as exciting as usual. This time I managed to do it in the kitchen when everyone was rustling around the house. It was almost a disaster, because it thickened up pretty quick and made me gag a little. I almost threw it back up, but I didn’t. I managed to keep it down. Could you have imagined the mess!?! Me vomiting up my “secret colon cleansing” drink all over the counter-top. Man, that would’ve been tough to explain to my aunt!!
The rest of the day was pretty laid back. I drove back home. Did some spring cleaning when I got there. Laundry. Vacuum. Dishes. (I really dislike doing the dishes.) No poop today. I had a headache all morning, but it seemed to fade away within a few hours. A few cramps here and there. Nothing unusual.
What I Had Today:
9:45 am - Cinnamon Pancakes, bacon & eggs with glass of milk
10:30 am - Full scoop of Colonix mixed with water.
11:00 am - Bottle of Water
2:15 pm - Turkey & Swiss Sandwich on Whole Wheat Kaiser Roll, with baby carrots. 16oz. Glass of Water.
3:30 pm - 16oz. Glass of Water
4:20 pm - Slice of Red Velvet Cake, with 10oz. glass of milk
6:00 pm - Handful of pretzels and 8oz. glass of water
8:15 pm - Chicken Fajita Quesadilla, with side of pinto beans. 12oz. can of coke

I woke up on my Aunt’s couch with a little bit of a neckache. I needed to pee. I rushed over to the bathroom and started going. While I was going #1, I felt an urge to go #2. I read my cousin’s Sports Illustrated magazine that was sitting there. I was so into the article about the Florida Gators winning the NCAA tourney, that I didn’t realize I squeezed a few nuggets out. Small and oddly shaped. Didn’t hurt coming out. No straining that I remembered. It was nice to have a sorta-normal poop again. It’s been awhile since I’ve expereinced that.
The day started off well. My aunt’s had made bisquits & gravy, with hashbrowns for breakfast. Yummy! I had a bunch of that. With some milk. It was hard to get the Colonix in me, because the kitchen was constantly occupied. So around 11am, I grabbed a glass of water and a spoon, and headed for the bathroom. I prepared my Colonix drink while in the bathroom. Is it just me, or is there something unnatural about chugging Poop Fiber, while sitting on the Poop shoot. Anyways, I got that down and rinsed out my glass before anyone noticed.
The rest of the day was good. Had the usual Colonix Headache and Constipation. I wouldn’t even call it constipation. I had two movements the day before and one that morning, so I guess just no more for the rest of the day. Would that be considered constipation? Probably not. The headache was normal. Not too severe. More of an annoyance. My neck hurt for most of the morning, but started to loosen up in the early afternoon.
We had a pretty good day. We went to the mall and walked around. Good cardio exercise. Ate a late lunch. Went to the movies, and then back to the house where we ate dinner and watched a DVD. Pretty lame family-outing stuff. But I got alot of exercise from walking around so much and went to bed early.
What I Ate Today:
8:15 am - Bisquits & Gravy, with Hashbrowns. Glass of Milk.
9:20 am - Glass of Water
10:35 am - Small Glass of Orange Juice
11:05 am - FULL Scoop of Colonix mixed with glass of water.
11:45 am - Half of Deli Sandwich. Turkey & Swiss. Glass of Water.
2:00 pm - Chick-Fil-A sandwich at Mall, with Gatorade
3:35 pm - Popcorn
6:00 pm - Glass of Water
7:30 pm - Lasagna & Garlic Bread, glass of milk
8:50 pm - Glass of water
10:10 pm - KleriTea…. zzzz.z.z.z…..
