Liver Gallbladder Cleanse - Day 5 (Flush Day)
Oh boy, what a day!
So, this is an account of what happened to me on Day 5 of my liver gallbladder cleanse. On Saturday, I did (mostly) everything from the liver gallbladder cleanse instructions. I started off with a big seedless watermelon that I cut up the night before. I ate alot of that for breakfast. I also bought some kiwi’s, but the instructions state NOT to mix the fruits. Which seems kinda odd.
The Liver Cleanse instructions also request that I make a soup that will help detoxify my liver. BUT, considering I didn’t like anything in the recipe, I opted for the Water Diet. I drank alot of water. I hope it was the full 32 oz, I’m not completely sure the amount I drank. I just started drinking.
I was pretty excited when the afternoon snack portion came around, because I am getting pretty hungry. The instructions for the liver cleanse gives you three options for a snack
- 3 Organic Avacados
- 4-6 oz. of Walnuts
- More Water… Lots of water.
I like both Walnuts & Avacados, but I went with the walnuts because they are more convenient to eat. I was sooooo hungry at this point, I ate the entire 6 oz. I bought, and I was still hungry! But the instructions state not to eat anything else for the rest of the day. However, I did eat one wedge of watermelon about 45 minutes before my first epsom salt.
About 5:20, I drank down the first of the epsom salt. That was one of the most horrible tastes I’ve ever experienced. I don’t think I mixed it together very well, because when I tipped the cup up to start chugging it down, a big glob of unmixed, wet epsom salt hit the back of my throat. I immediately vomited into the kitchen sink.
About five minutes later. I was able to get down the epsom salt mix. This time, I put more water in and made sure to mix the epsom salt completely before drinking it.
Two Hours later, I repeated the epsom salt drink. No problems. I was able to get it down without incident.
Right at 10pm. I drank the olive oil. I was expecting this to be the worst, but it actually wasn’t that bad. I bought a big orange and just squeezed every ounce of juice into the olive oil. But, obviously, the two didn’t mix. So, I would vigorously stir the mix, and then take a big swig. It took me four swigs to get all of the olive oil/orange juice down. The last swig actually tasted pretty good, but that’s because all of the orange juice sank to the bottom.
Directly after drinking the Olive Oil, I went and laid down in my bed and started a movie. From the verbage on the liver cleanse instructions had me expecting to feel alot of nausea, cramping or bloating, because, well I just drank alot of Olive Oil! But surprisingly, I felt fine. I kept burping up the taste of the olive oil, but that was about it.
Day 5 of the Liver Gallbladder Cleanse was a long day, mainly because I was pretty hungry. But the actual ‘cleansing’ day of the liver & gallbladder was very simple. I didn’t feel bad or anything. In my opinion, the worst part was drinking the epsom salts. It tasted really bad and the texture made me kinda queezy.
I guess now you’re wondering if I saw any green stones, huh? Well, you’re gonna have to wait til tomorrow, when I have the pictures ready.
